International Summer Courses Ltd is a small company so we offer you personalised and efficient service. Kath Huxley, the Director is a former IB coordinator, IB teacher, and IB examiner with over 20 years of experience; she is also a qualified specialist Educational Psychologist. She has taught in IB schools in the UK, Mexico, France and Egypt and is very aware of the needs of IB students and the demands of the IB program. It is because the IB program has the right philosophy for education that she feels IB students should benefit from the IB experience in the atmosphere of Stanford University.
Who are the faculty?
All the IB subject teachers who teach on our program are accomplished, expert and qualified teachers currently teaching in IB schools around the world, many are also IB examiners. The teachers and Director live in the dorm with the students for the duration of the course and are available for questions and reassurance. They want students to enjoy and benefit from their time at Stanford and to feel free to ask for any advice. Student advisors are also on hand after class to organise their sporting and social events and look after them.
