We collect the IP address of visitors to our Web site, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, user-specific information on such as your name and address, telephone number, fax number, payment information (but not banking details) and supplementary information detailed within the application process. How information about you will be used

We do not partner with or have special relationships with any Ad Server companies.

With respect to your personal information provided during the application process, entered on the paper Application Form or submitted by email: a subset of this information will be disclosed to Stanford University Conference Services in line with their policy of requiring personal contact information on all course attendees. If you have elected to take our medical insurance, this information will disclosed to Seven Corners, Inc to contract this policy on your behalf.

Information surrounding subject choices and content will be passed to teaching staff to ensure you get the best possible course experience. Where appropriate, additional information you have provided surrounding medical sensivities, specifically any illness, disability or allergies and medication will be shared only with those staff who have responsibility for your wellbeing.

If you have elected to take weekend trips with us, we may be required to disclose your name and telephone contact information to organisations to facilitate ticketing or other entrance/attendance activity.

We will not sell or rent any of the information you have provided to anyone else.

During a course enquiry or the application process you supply us with contact telephone numbers and will only receive calls from us with information regarding course application, your circumstances or in response to any enquiries you have raised with us.

How long we keep the information we collect about you

We store and process your personal data only as long as we need it to fulfil the purpose it is used for, and for a maximum of twelve months. We could be required to keep your data for longer to fulfil legal obligations, but in such a case we won’t use the data for anything else and it will be deleted after this time.

From time to time, we may wish use customer information for unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in this policy. Should this situation arise we will contact you before we use your data for these new purposes to gain your permission, to notify you of the policy change and to provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. You may prevent their information from being used by e-mailing us at the above address.

Where the information is stored

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to a destination outside the European Union. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the Europe who work for us or for one of our suppliers or affiliates.

By submitting your personal data you agree to this, its’ storing and processing. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in line with this policy.

All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology, and we do not retain or store any credit card information for any future payment processing. Upon registration you will be asked to created a login ID and password to enable access to this information and you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.

We will do our best to protect your personal data but we cannot guarantee the security and integrity of your data transmitted over the internet to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will make all reasonable efforts to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Access to information we hold about you

If you are a European citizen, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you the right to access information held about you. Any access request may be subject to a fee of $10 to meet our costs in providing this to you. Such request should be made to the Data Protection Officer at or by contacting us by telephone on +44 117 318 2767. Such information will only be disclosed using the contact information you have already provided to us.

You have the right to update the information we hold about you if you believe it to be inaccurate. If this is the case, please contact either the course administrator and/or DPO at the above addresses or by telephone so it may be updated.
