Social Events & Weekends
You must attend morning academic sessions and your chosen optional afternoon classes but you will have free time to go and explore the campus, work on your assignments and homework, play sport or watch a movie with friends in the dorm.

After dinner you may want to relax in the student lounge or join in the evening
activities we will have on offer for you. Some of the activities undertaken in
the past include:
» A Designer outlet trip to get all the best bargains on clothes, sportswear and
shoes.
» Film nights with the latest releases from Blockbusters.
» Talent or Karaoke night - show us your talents and join in.
» International BBQ evening - chat and enjoy a hamburger and a soda with your new
friends.
» Play a choice of sports including Soccer, Frisbee, Volleyball or Basketball or
go for a work out in the gym.
» Quiz nights - get involved in friendly competitions organised by your student
advisors.

Weekends
Join us on our two weekend trips and get the most from your visit to the Bay
Area and San Francisco.
Trips may vary but previous trips have included:
» San Francisco Tour - a visit to the famous Alcatraz prison, Pier 39 and
Fishermans Wharf. See the Golden Gate bridge and the ocean from a great vista
point and eat seafood with your friends.
» Great America - a Paramount amusement park with lots of roller coasters and
scary rides and even an IMAX theatre.
